Your referral will be reviewed by Dr Russ & you will be contacted by Natalee our practice administrator with an appointment time.

Gynaecology Services

We provide comprehensive and sensitive care across a range of women’s health issues including:

Colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening (pap smears)
Period problems - pain, irregular or absent cycles, heavy or frequent bleeding
Minimally invasive treatments for heavy menstrual bleeding including IUD insertion and endometrial ablation
Contraception
Menopause
Endometriosis
Infertility assessment and ovulation induction
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Adolescent gynaecological health

Many simple procedures such as insertion of a contraceptive IUD and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening can be done in our rooms however if you require surgery this will be usually be done at Burnside War Memorial Hospital.
