Obstetrics

Dr Russ’s fees
There is an out of pocket fee with the first antenatal appointment.

At 28 weeks there will be a “planning & management fee” which covers the remaining pregnancy care including antenatal, birthing and postnatal care.

Hospital Information
Please call the hospital for costings and any possible additional fees related to your pregnancy. If you are admitted during pregnancy or your baby is admitted postnatally there may be additional fees.

Anaesthetist
Costs associated with anaesthetic fees for a delivery are dependent on the type of delivery being carried out and the anaesthetist administrating the anaesthetic. It is not possible to always know who the anaesthetist will be and hence quoting of fees is difficult.

Paediatrician
There will be out of pocket fees which are not covered by your private health fund. Please contact Prosper Paediatrics and Adelaide Paediatrics to get an estimate of these fees.
